The July 2019 Caregiver of the Month is Loretta Outland. Over the past 4 years, Loretta has proven herself to be an incredibly reliable and dedicated member of the LVA team. Since the day she started with our agency, Loretta has worked 12-hour shifts during the week and has always been willing to work on the weekends. Her ability to relate to and communicate with the families and individuals that she works with is something that sets her apart.
Loretta says that the thing she enjoys most about working for the agency is the ability to work with many different personalities, likes and dislikes as well as clients with a range of physical and cognitive challenges. Given these experiences, she has learned to adapt in order to better provide for her clients all while helping her grow as a caregiver. Before working in home care, Loretta worked in a hospital.
Originally from Liberia, Loretta came to the states 20 years ago. When she isn’t working, Loretta spends her time with her family reminiscing about her home country. She spends most of her time with her mother, daughter and grandson. Loretta also enjoys going to church.
Caregivers like Loretta are one of the many reasons our agency can provide exceptional service. If you see Loretta – please congratulate her on all her hard work!
